Nia's work as an accompanist covers a wide range of styles from classical to musical theatre. Her schedule of concert performances includes song cycles by Schubert, Richard Strauss, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Berg and Schoenberg, as well as many other lieder and operatic programmes. Venues include St Martin-in-the-Fields, London's City Churches and, in her Oxford base, the Jacqueline du Pre Music Room, the Holywell Music Room, all the city's main theatres and several college chapels. She has also accompanied competitors at many music festivals, including Cheltenham, Oxford, Abingdon and the National Choir Festival, and has worked with performers such as Brian Kay, Alastair Thompson, Simon Butteriss and Leon Berger.

As a rehearsal pianist and coach Nia has played for many professional and amateur companies, choirs and societies including Opera Anywhere, Stagecoach, English Touring Opera, Pro Musica Singers, Oxford Operatic Society, Music Youth Company Oxford, Charity Opera, Scene Stealers and Oxford Opera Studio. She has also accompanied several masterclasses, workshops, lessons etc, conducted by Mary Hill, Beryl Foster, Jean Allister, Graham Trew, and Stephen Barlow at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
