- The Director's Cut: the strange story of Vera Venti, star of the silver screen, and her even stranger family. Through the eyes of her most obsessive fan, the novel follows Vera's journey from a grocer's shop in a South Wales mining town to a life of celebrity and excess in Hollywood - and back again, to a confrontation with the narrator himself which changes everybody's life.
- Hidden Gems: some time in the very near future Wilf, a travel writer, makes his way along the British coast. As he researches and describes the beaches, faded stately homes, crumbling lidos and empty hotels, he worries about his missing girlfriend and recalls the events that led to her disappearance. At Hestyn, a remote and nondescript seaside town, Wilf meets the local historian, Lambert Stokes, and his trip takes a surreal and troubling turn.

- Greece! The Musical (music and lyrics): a contemporary take on some of the best known Ancient Greek myths, written for chorus, principals and piano (orchestration to follow). - Daddy's Girls (music and lyrics): a chamber musical about three related women who come together after the death of an older man. Due for performance in summer 2010.
- Choral Project (lyrics): a collaboration with composer Malcolm Pearce on a suite of choral pieces based on dance throughout the ages. Due for performance Christmas 2010.
- Tales of the Greeks (lyrics): a cantata for bass, female voices, children's choir and chamber ensemble, based on ancient Greek myths. Collaboration with John Whittaker.
