Nia's short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Wales, and translated into Czech and Welsh. Her work is promoted by Welsh Literature Abroad, and she is a member of The Society of Authors and of Academi (The Welsh Academy).

Nia has experience of discussing her books at literary festivals, on bookshop and library tours, and on BBC radio and television.
