NEWS & REVIEWS 2025—2026

Tickets are on sale now for the Oxford debut of EVANGELINE, my musical tale of a showbiz survivor featuring Guy Brigg as the Divine Ms E — and everyone else.
After our preview run at the Burton-Taylor Studio 15—17 April we'll be heading for the Brighton Fringe for a week at The Lantern Theatre, 4—8 May — come and join us!

Apart from bringing Evangeline's rollercoaster story to page and stage, recent highlights for my tiny theatre company THREE CHAIRS & A HAT include:

🎭 semi-final places for our animated musicals LADY M and PETER — Trouble, in the GLASGOW FILM AWARDS

🎭 a semi-final for PETER — Trouble, in the MELBOURNE INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL

🎭 another semi-final for PETER — Foundations, in the EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL (all animations are available to watch on YouTube and Scenesaver

Aside from Three Chairs & A Hat, I've been working in rehearsals, performances, workshops and events.

Workshops

Magic happens every Monday at the Dance for Parkinson's and Dance for Joy workshops I co-lead for MuMo Creative and English National Ballet. The spring term is well underway, exploring ENB's wonderful productions of Akram Khan's Giselle, and his groundbreaking work Jungle Book Reimagined.

MuMo is also staging public workshops at the major Oxford museums, inspired by their collections, and releasing a music video performed by our participants among the wonders of the Natural History Museum to my song Dance of Life. We have many more exciting projects ahead in 2026 — see our website for further details.

Accompanying/MDing

My work as a pianist and occasional MD involves a variety of styles and events. Lined up for 2026 so far are a Valentine-themed cabaret at Oxford's Old Fire Station, Mozart operas Cosí Fan Tutte and The Magic Flute for Opera Anywhere, a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Oxford Playhouse for Musical Youth Company Oxford, and a student production of West Side Story.
